  • Where does the money go?
    PAC funds have been used to support the following programs: Christmas Hampers Classroom Improvement Fund Computers & Technology (MAC adapters, computer speakers, French Immersion ipads, MAC printer, MACC Class set up, projector) Emergency Preparedness (updating emergency kits, water and food rations and purchasing additional kits as number of students at school increases) Field Trips (providing teachers with funds for each student in their class to support learning outside of the school) Fine Arts Performances (providing funds so students can experience fine arts performances at their school) Fine Arts Supplies (art racks, cookie sheets, drying racks) Integration Room (books, games and supplies) PAC Kitchen (dishes for hospitality events, supplies to prepare Hot Lunch) Physical Education Equipment (floorball equipment, indoor games bins) Sports Programs (tennis, dance, gymnastics, inline skating, water for sports day) Staff Appreciation (gifts for departing staff and staff appreciation lunch) Student Education Programs Student Alumni Scholarships (Elgin & Earl Marriott) Teacher Wish List
  • How can I help?
    Through school and community support. The PAC puts on events throughout the year, and all types of help are needed. Please reach out to social@crescentparkpac.com to find out how to volunteer. We can always use the extra hand, especially in the following: Arranging guest speakers and organizing Parent Information Sessions Organizing & running events like the back-to-school welcome coffee & BBQ, Movie Nights, Santa Pancake Breakfast, Valentine's Day dances, Fun Fair – just to name a few! Representing Crescent Park at the District PAC meetings Staff appreciation events Helping source funding directly to the teachers. Welcoming new families
  • What is DPAC?
    DPAC is the Surrey District PAC. DPACs are the legislated parent voice at the school district level, representing the collective views of school Parents' Advisory Councils (PAC) in a school district.
